Ms. Clark’s mission is to educate, support and promote appropriate dressing in the workplace and for personal preferences. She has gained valuable insights into fashion and professional appearance while working in the retail business for more than twenty years. Living in Chicago for over eighteen years and being ridiculed about her poor dressing habits by her sisters-in-law, Ms. Clark decided to work part-time at clothing stores to erase boredom (being away from her family in North Carolina) and be able to purchase fashionable clothing at a discounted price.
Ms. Clark became very keen on professional dressing; she knows the correct way to dress for success in any job setting. She has often been approached by well-known retailers to be a personal shopper for their exclusive clients. Her clientele includes Lord and Taylor, Spiegel, Hit or Miss, Casual Corner, Victoria’s Secret, Target and Sears. Ms Clark decided in July 2004 to follow her dream and devote more time to her services and growing clientele. That dream, materialized into The Lovely Lady Personal Image Consultation business for women, men and young adults.
In addition to one-on-one consultations, makeovers, and personal shopping for clients, Ms. Clark conducts Dress for Success seminars at schools, churches, and government agencies. She also hosts annual shopping trips to New York for her clients.

Ms Clark is member of the Association of Image Consultants International (AICI). AICI is the leading and largest professional association of personal and corporate image consultants worldwide. A non-profit organization, AICI is dedicated to advancing the level of professionalism and enhancing the recognition of image consultants.
Our members counsel both individual and corporate clients on appearance, behavior, communication skills, etiquette and international protocol. As experts in image consulting, our members guide clients to achieve their specific goals with authenticity, credibility and confidence www.aici.org.
As a personal image consultant, Ms. Clark gives constructive advice to women, men and young adults about the importance of the silent communicator, your image. She helps to develop a more positive image to get respect, promotions and self-confidence. It brings out a more positive attitude knowing that your body was created only for you and that you can make adjustments to love the body that you are in. You will learn skills to help you conduct a reality check of what and who you are. Ms. Clark will help you evaluate dressing, sizing, coloring, makeup and clothing selections, giving you the skills to make the best decisions about your image.
